3 More Days...

3 MORE DAYS!!!

3 more days and my exam ends?
Yea, I wish...
3 more days to the holidays I've been looking forward to since who knows when?
Yea, I wish...
3 more days till I can "un-quarantine " myself and go out and have fun?
Yea, I wish...
3 more days and I can start a bonfire with my books?
Yea, I wish...

3 MORE DAYS...
and my dreaded exams start...
*Sigh* the end of it is so near, yet so far...

GAH!!!

The Clash of Excitement, Fun and Awesomeness

Darn... I don't know how to start this post. Words just can't describe how I felt two nights ago.

Well I guess I should first say what happened two nights before then. As most tennis fans would surely be aware of, Thursday night was the night where current tennis world number one Roger Federer faced off against former world number one Pete Sampras in an exhibition match named "Clash of the Times" on our very own Malaysian soil in Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam.

And being an extremely big fan of Roger Federer and his beautiful on-court play and moves, surely I couldn't bear to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime kinda opportunity! After just a little persuasion on my parents behalf, I found myself sitting in row N in the stadium at 8pm on Thursday night, feeling a little over-the-top as I waited impatiently for the two tennis greats to show themselves.

Yup, that's the view from my camera from my RM83 seat. See that tiny spec in black on the court? That's Jaclyn Victor providing some entertainment before the match started. Oh and did you know the VVIPs present at the match were the Yang-dipertuan Agong, the Sultan of Selangor and also Dato' Seri Mohd. Najib among others.

You should've heard the crowd scream when both Sampras and Federer entered the court. Well it is expected isn't it? They are after all, the greats, Pete Sampras and Roger Federer.

This is the maximum zoom my lousy camera would allow me to take from where I was. Well, not too clear but it's better than nothing. XD

I can't exactly describe how I felt watching the both of them play, but to put it simply I felt excited, awed and extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to actually see Roger Federer in the flesh with my own eyes (and not through a tv screen) and hear his voice with my own ears (although the sound system there wasn't all that good what with the echo bouncing back and all).

Sitting so far up (that's what you get when you can't afford front row seats LOL), it was a good thing I brought my binoculars as I greedily took in the full features, the posture and stance, and the powerful serves of both Roger and Pete. Well I wasn't the only one hogging the bino though, dad also wanted his share of the Roger-Pete view.

The only thing I regret, would be the missed opportunity to grab hold of one of those big tennis balls being sold by Wilson outside the stadium and running up to both Roger and Pete to ask for their autographs. Would I even have the guts to squirm past security? I seriously don't know. But it's not impossible for sure, as my friend's mum managed to evade all security and rushed right up to Roger at his reception in Starhill. Her reward? His beautiful autograph on her bag of course.

Ah, but I'm not without souvenirs either. My memories of the match would always stay with me (unless I lose my memory or mind for that matter). And now I have more motivation to work towards my next goal... to sit in the front row and watch Federer play at any one of the Grand-slams. XD However if this is to be achieved I really have to work fast and hard, as Federer is already 26, but I believe he'll still stay on and be the world number one for many years to come.

Yong-sama has always been a big fan of Federer's back-hand slice and not so much of Pete Sampras' superb serve-volley style (I was a pro-Agassi girl). Wimbledon/Aussie Open, here I come!!!

Yong-sama's back... Back Again...

Greetings my fellow readers, Yong-sama is finally back from the dead.

Well, okAy... I wasn't exactly dead, but not being able to use my computer in this modern digital age is somewhat equivalent to me feeling as if I have died, and of course now, being reborn again.

First of all, many thank yous, terima kasihs and arigatous to Qi Hong who has been an extremely good friend for saving my computer and my files from the worst disaster ever. And I am also so so so sorry if I've been somewhat annoying and irritating every time I sms-ed you to ask all those noob and stupid questions. But seriously, without your help, I think I'll be clawing my brains out every night trying to decide what to do with my computer. XD

So, wondering what has been going on in my life ever since my last update? Nothing much actually, as I'll be sitting for my final exams soon, and all I have left is to attend my extreme-killin'-hours revisions classes. You know if I were suffering from osteoporosis, my spine would have broken a long long time ago no thanks to the stupid hard wooden lecture hall seats. As it is, my nice curvy ass has become flat. What else left is there for me to say?

What else...? Oh right, I was at the pre-preview of Penguin Books (Pearson Malaysia) warehouse sale today. And goodness, the first time I stepped into the compound of the warehouse and picked up a hard-cover book to look at its price, I almost died with intense happiness. Well F.Y.I, most of the hard-cover books were selling at RM15 each, and paperbacks were priced at RM10 each. There were even dictionaries selling for as low as RM1. So for a big bookworm like me (Yes, I'm proud to say I'm an extremely huge, fat and juicy bookworm), it was kinda like stepping into heaven. In the end, I happily went home with RM86 worth of purchases (which is quite little compared to Miss Fern who actually spent RM253 on her books) with a total of 3 hard-cover books, and 5 more in paperback.

Additions to my shelf... Hopefully they'll last at least half a year for me...

Oh, and some good news to all those expecting Christmas gifts from me. Hehehe... Just to let you know that I have done some really early shopping for Christmas, and you can expect something nicer and much more better than what I gave you last Christmas. All that is left for me to worry is whether I'd be able to accomplish what I am planning to do to the gifts in time for Christmas.

Anyway, as much as I wish to come online and blog all I want, I might not be able to either. So please forgive me for the lack of posts during these 2-3 weeks, alright?

Until next time, it's been a pleasure to finally post an update.

Have a good day, people!

My Piece o' Sh*t Just Died-ed

Hey there people, sorry for the long wait for a new update. I've been extremely busy with my mock exams and what not. Surely if I want that Malaysian prize (and you all want me to belanja you) I have to work an extra mile harder, no?

So, glad to see me back online, huh? After my mock exam and all... Well I have some extra bad news for you...

I may not be coming online to blog/chat/reply/read mails for quite some time because according to some intelligent sources (i.e thank you Qi Hong for all the tips and advice), my computer's OS has become corrupted, either that or my hardware has died-ed and now needs to be buried. The only worry that I'm having right now is the safety of my data on the drives (My most precious photographs that no one else would have copies of which no amount of money is able to replace and also all the stories I've been writing down for who knows how long will not come back the same again T__T).

*Sigh* Furthermore my dad seems reluctant to bring my precious for a much needed check-up. So it looks like if he's not willing to do anything about the current situation, I would have no choice to take out a huge chunk of funds I've been saving for Christmas (Yea, so don't blame me if you get an extremely lousy present this year XD).

Oh and fyi, just in case you're wondering, I'm blogging from the computer in my college's library. And it's so weird because the whole interface of my blogger right now is in Japanese. XD (LOL guess that was why no one was using the computer). I'm so missing my computer right now T_T.

Anyway, I'm signing off for now. Hope to get back my computer back alive real soon. Gah, I'm so addicted to the Internet. Haha.

Muacks~
