Mistakes

Every human being on this world makes mistakes. God didn't make us perfect.

Everything in the world runs in a cycle. Take life for example, from a baby, to a kid, to a teen, adult, and finally an old person before your candle of life burns out, goes in a somewhat cycle, doesn't it?

The same can be said for a person's actions. You make a mistake, hurting somebody. You then come to realise that you've done something wrong, and you apologise. The person you apologise to then forgives you, and all is well again. The cycle is complete then, is it not?

The way I see it, the cycle is still incomplete and the existing broken link is usually blind to most people. As much as you realise your own mistakes, as much effort you've put in to make an apology, ask yourself this: Have I actually learned anything from making this mistake?

The answer would probably be no. If humans were to actually learn from all of their mistakes, this world would sooner or later be a perfect place. But as I said, God didn't make us perfect.

Remember way back then when you were in school and frequently had history projects to do, there would always be a section where you had to write out the objectives of the project. The standard answer that most students would've written down would be 'To enable us to know the history and learn from it, preventing us from repeating the same mistakes in the future.'

Learn from it to prevent making the same mistake? If this action is actually applied into our lives would there still be accidents happening? Would students actually pass all their papers without failing any? Would there finally be a world with peace and without war?

That's just something that we can all hope for.

The next time you or anyone close to you makes a mistake, just remind yourself that you should at least learn something from it, whether you made the mistake or not. Life is a learning process, and you only have one life. If you've ever made a mistake and regret it, make that mistake worthwhile then, by learning from it.

If everyone is able to do this, the world might turn out to be a better place after all.

Yong-sama is the same as everyone else and has made numerous mistakes in her life. As much as she regrets making them, she is also glad for the chance to make them to understand what would've been right and what would've been wrong. If Yong-sama has actually made any mistakes towards friends or family that she has not yet realised, she would be glad if you were to point it out to her, and point her in the right direction.

The 10 things...

The 10 things I'm missing right now:

10. My grandma's herbal soup... although I just had it 3 days ago.

9. Japan and everyone I know in Japan.

8. The times where I would walk back from school alone. Although I sometimes dreaded it, it was one of the best moments where I would allow my mind to wander into its own world (of course keeping alert for anything suspicious and cars when crossing roads and drains).

7. My kakkoii Japanese teacher Moriyama sensei.

6. The old school days where it was totally ok to fail in your exams as you wouldn't have to worry about paying extra money in STERLING POUNDS to resit the exam. (In fact, you wouldn't have to resit ANY exams in good ole' school days)

5. The fun times I had playing RO with my peeps. This point goes all out to Kaji, Iced Shadow and Jonjon.

4. The times where my taekwondo peeps and I would enter competitions and totally OWN in them (okla... not TOTALLY, but hey we're seriously quite good =p). Everybody's too busy to enter competitions now T_T.

3. My Ipoh Hakka Mee!!!

2. The sane part of my mind which I fear is lost forever.

1. All my friends who I haven't seen today. That would be my college bApaKz gang, who I haven't seen for a week; me old gang of 5 gals that managed to stick together for good or for bad for the past 6 years; and the teddies who I just met up with yesterday, 2 months ago, and the other 2 who are currently in Australia.

The 'football fan'

Just a little piece of advice:
You do not want to be sitting next to me while I'm watching a football game, especially if my favourite team Manchester United is playing.

The reason?
Hmm...
Well, you see, I have the knack to make someone really annoyed or irritated while watching the game with me.

How?
1. Disturbing your sense of hearing
For every little miss or mistake that either team may make during the game, I would either groan loudly, laugh out aloud, slap my forehead and curse, or even start rocking the couch back and forth.

If the team I'm supporting were to score a goal, I bet you'd be able to hear my screams from the end of the street from where I am.
If the team I'm NOT supporting were to score a goal, I bet you'd be able to hear my cursing and ranting in the next neighbourhood.

2. Disturbing your sense of sight
Looking at a girl in pyjamas with her hair all about her face dancing around the couch, jumping up and down on the couch, and knocking down drinks and furniture around her is not a pretty sight. Just ask my all-knowing father, he knows.

3. Disturbing your sense of taste
Hey, if you've seen me stepping on the snacks and stuff while I'm dancing you'd obviously have no more appetite to put it in your mouth right?

4. Disturbing your sense of touch
The way I dance would be enough to give you goosebumps for the rest of your life. 'Nuff said.

5. Disturbing your sense of smell
Urm, well unfortunately, I mean fortunately this sense would not be affected by my 'crazy' ways.

6. Disturbing your sixth sense
If this really does happen, I really don't know what else to say.

Previous victims?
My dad of course, he now no longer sits on the same couch or next to me during any games.
My brother, he has to an extent stopped watching football with me.

Ah well, as much as others may not enjoy it, I do. And that's all that matters.
Anyone daring enough to watch the upcoming Chelsea vs. MU FA Cup final with me now? XD
