Soap or Shower Foam?

Yes, which do you use at home:

A bar of lemon/strawberry/non-scented anti bacterial soap...

or the easy to apply on green tea/orange/(and again) non-scented anti bacterial shower foam?

Well I'll assume that different people would have different preferences, but I bet most of them don't really care (especially the guys) what type of body cleansing material they are using, as long as it carries out its main objective to well, clean le body...

Take my dad for example, well he certainly does prefer using the normal soap cake (especially the strong anti-bacterial dettol types), although there was a time where he suddenly had this "phase" in using shower foams and went on a buying spree in Guardian (it was during stock clearance... he practically bought 5 whole 1 litre bottles of shower foam =.= at RM5 each of course).

And then there's my mum, who doesn't really mind what type of soap she uses, so there I've nothing to say about that.

And not to forget my brother, who'd practically use anything he can find in the bathroom to take his bath (he doesn't care if he uses my shampoo as body soap or scrubs soap on his hair as shampoo, although he does have this habit of staying too long in the bathroom at times... and when he does come out, the whole bathtub is so soapy and smells so strongly of shower foam)

So there, my family doesn't really care, except for me, who is the odd one out. Okay fine, you can call picky, choosy, fussy or whatever it is, but it's not that I want to feel the way I feel. The thing is, I will no doubt use any kind of soap if I have no choice of course, but if I were to use the normal block of soap, I would have this feeling of being still unclean after my bath, like as if I did not step into the shower at all. BUT... if I were to use the shower foam instead, I would feel that I'm 100% bacteria free after my bath.

There was this time that we ran out of shower foam, and instead of replacing it with those refill packets, my mum bought the normal soap instead. So for 2 whole weeks, I had no choice but to use the soap, and for that 2 whole weeks, I felt like I was only "mandi-kerbauing" every time I stepped into and out of the shower. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore, so I requested mum to please please PLEASE get me my beloved Shokubutsu shower foam. Dad who overheard our conversation scoffed at my request, saying that soap was much more cheaper than shower foam.

So then, I resigned to the fact that mum would listen to dad and not get me my shower foam. But what d'you know... It was on the Sunday of that very same week, and we were at Giant doing a spot of shopping. I was off near the sweets and delicacies section looking at all the Cadbury chocolate they had to offer, when suddenly dad came up behind me holding something in his hand. "Nah, they're having discount." he said as he handed me a twin-pack Shokubutsu shower foam. I grinned gleefully as I took the shower foam from his hand. Well daddy's daughter always wins =p Haha... and I love him for it XD
And look what came along with my shower foam, a cute little doll like dispenser. Her name's Chiyo, and they have 3 other colours to make up a cute little collection, which I am itching to be able to complete. I doubt I would though, unless I sneak out every now and then to purchase the shower foam and them come home and hide it under my bed or something... XD

So, there you have it: Yong-sama's little obsession with shower foam. What about you? Do YOU have any similar preference as to mine???
