Lame 2

And since I'm feeling so lame and waiting for my hair to dry (no I don't particularly adore using hairdryers, thank you very much) might as well do this lah (summore can increase my post count bwahahaah!).

1. What age do you wish to marry?
- 25 earliest 28 latest. Wah, come to think of it 25 is just like 5 years from now. Gasp o.O

2. What will you do when you feel really emo?
- First, I will lose my temper at everyone around me. Then next, I will start crying out of no particular reason if I'm feeling extremely emo. Yeah I know, I didn't know I could be so pathetic until just a few nights ago. =.=

3. Who is your idol?
- Uhh... never really thought about this. I remember last time in school they used to have essay questions like this and you usually answered: my mother, my father, my uncle/auntie/any other grown-up/old relative, the prime minister, Kelly Clarkson? XD
- Well after much thinking (like just a mere 1 minute), I've concluded that I don't have one.

4. Where is the place you want to go most?
- Israel-Jerusalem. No serious. If I could I would want to re-walk the path Jesus did on the day of his crucification.

5. If you have one dream to come true, what would it be?
- Actually, I don't really know if I want and of my "dreams" to come true. I'm not sure if I would actually like it happening. Maybe at first but in the long-term? I'm happy with the life I have now anyway. Granted the chance I'd give this chance to someone who really needs it.

6. What is the purpose of your life?
- A question yet unanswered for me. However, I do believe that in due time God would reveal the answer.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most right now?
- My friends and family.

8. What cheers you up for the rest of the day?
- Just a simple gesture of kindness or a meaningful phrase from anyone would do the trick.

9. If you meet someone you love, would you confess to him/her?
- Well that depends. But me being the shy one I don't think it'd be likely to happen.

10. List out 3 good things about the person who tagged you.
- Super smart, has a way with words and has a gorgeous red MyVi. (LOL)

11. What type of person do you hate the most?
- People who think soo, soo highly of themselves, extreme-case hypocrites, bullies.

12. What would you do if you won a million dollars?
- Well, firstly I'd jump into the air, screaming as if I've gone mad and hug everyone around me. And then only would I do all the practical stuff. Well, actually winning RM1 million is more than enough for me. First, invest like half of it. Second, give parents RM200k to repay debts, save up for brother's education, renovate the house or whatever they want to do with it. Third, RM100k to charity (sorry lah I very kedekut). And last, enjoy whatever remaining balance there is.

13. What is your ambition?
- To achieve all (or if not most) of the things that would give me life's fullest experience.

14. What will you do if you get rejected by someone you like?
- What else can I do? Takkan suicide meh? No choice but to accept lah right? (And then after that try to forget the fella lor...)

15. If you have a chance, which part of your character would you like to change?
- My hotheadedness and that stupid tendency to speak first without thinking.

16. What is your favourite colour?
- Green! The colour of nature!

17. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
- The people I love and being able to live life itself.

18. If there's one thing in your life you want to do but yet unable to, what would it be?
- (Assuming it means I want to do but would be 100% unable to do it) Hmm, let's see... becoming a Japanese seiyuu (voice actress). Do YOU think I'd be able to do this?

19. What would you do if tomorrow is the last day of the world?
- Try and save the world =p (yeah right). I would want my first (and last) kiss, let all that I love know how much they actually mean to me, and then sit back with a box of pop-corn, relax and watch everything go KA-BOOM/ Bye-bye.

20. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
- For him to be my equal, trust me no matter what happens and to love me for who I am. Of course if he has that athletic masculinity, beautiful intense eyes (like I've mentioned before), and all those extra characteristics that can only exist in fantasies I'd be a very happy person. LOL

EDIT: I was so tired I forgot to tag someone else... Eh must one meh? Feel so jahat... Sue-Anne and Jo... don't really have many people on my list anyway... haha

IT'S SO HOT!

IT'S SO HOT! I'M SO HOT!
cheh... so perasan...

No, I really mean it. No, not me, it's the weather. And it's killing me.
And guess what? Of all seasons and timings, my air-conditioner just decided to malfunction right about now.

*Sigh* Can the weather get any worst than it is right now? I don't think so. Of course, I'm ignoring the fact that the temperature during summer in most countries can hit a high of 40++ Celsius, but that's beside the point, I'm talking about Malaysia here.

I mean, come on... how can it rain and still be hot and humid at the same time (no don't bother explaining anything to me about Science and the weather and what not). And the worst part about it is although I jump into the cold, cold (actually it's not really cold, the water from the upstairs tangki is all heated up as well =.=) shower like 4-5 times a day, I still come out sweating like a hippopotamus (wait... do hippos sweat? o.O).

Okay, before you tell me to quit whining, I'd just like to add...
If I miraculously find a genie in one of the shampoo bottles in my bathroom and it is willing to grant me 3 wishes... they would be:

1. I wish my air-cond to work properly again... No wait, scratch that, change the brand to Panasonic instead, thank you very much.

2. I wish I was born in a country with 4 seasons... Now hold on, if I'd wish that then my 1st wish would've been wasted wouldn't it?
Genie says: "Sorry, once you wish your wish, no changey your wish!" -with an Indian accent
Yong: "Dang it..." *Silently curses the genie*

3. I wish it would snow in Malaysia... Hey hold on, I'm not living in Malaysia anymore!!! T_T
Genie: "Your wish is my command!"

Then, *poofs*, it disappears.
Yong: "Hey wait-a-minute! COME BACK HERE!!!" (Probably in heavy accented Russian, assuming he poofed me to Russia...)

Okay, now that didn't turn out so well.
Snow in Malaysia eh? This girl is going nuts...
Yea well, since the weather is so screwed now, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if it rained hail the size of basketballs here. And a little snow wouldn't hurt either.

=p

Bz Bz Wk

Yes, it has been a busy, busy week.

Just a short update before I take off and never land back in Yong-sama land again:

1. PT (Progress Test) is finally over. Was a little worried as I haven't been studying consistently for the last few weeks. But amazingly, the questions were easier than I expected it to be. Guess all the time spent doing homework really has paid off.

2. Going down to Singapore tomorrow. Hope I'll be able to come back with more than just experience and a certificate. No, I don't mean bruises or blue blacks or anything of that sort. Pray, pray that I don't sustain any injuries or get knocked-out down there. Lol.

3. I need sleep T_______T

4. Got kicked in the jaw yesterday by my team mate. It was an accident >.<. Wah... her kick is damn kau powerful okay! It still hurts but at least I can close my mouth fully without feeling the stinging pain anymore. Hope this doesn't happen to me in Singapore... (if she kick her opponent then I'm all for it lah... XD)

5. Was shopping alone in Pyramid just now. Dang, I looked so lonely, it was pathethic. LOL

That's about it. Hmm, looking back now it doesn't seem to be so busy anymore. Haha.

Well until next time folks~

Something to Ponder...

Just a little something that struck me real hard and stood out clearly to me last night as I was going through my Bible:

"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
-Mark 8:29

It's time for Change

Yup, today's the day after Malaysia's 12th General Election. And as the results of the votes were made known yesterday from as early as 7pm, I bet most of you out there already know how much of a surprise this General Election has been.

Well, for those of you who don't know what's going on, here's just a little summary:
Barisan Nasional has lost 5 states to the Opposition (Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, Selangor and Perak).
Barisan Nasional has failed to retain the two thirds majority that they had previously held in Parliament, and now only holds a simple majority (50%).

So, there you go. I guess the results of the elections has clearly shown how much the rakyat is frustrated with the government, and being unable to voice out their frustrations, the only way to do it was to go to the elections, and well, to take it all out there.

Frankly, I'm quite surprised that the Opposition was able to achieve such a huge feat this time around. When you come to think about it, for the past few elections that we of the younger generation have been able to observe, it has always been a Barisan Nasional dominated field. Come on, even the Opposition themselves did not expect to win so many seats, what more a young girl, who has yet to become an adult, like me could predict such a result.

I've nothing much to comment about it though. Although I do try to keep up with happenings from the newspapers, Internet and the like, I'm barely 20 years old, not eligible to vote yet, and can hardly understand the world of politics.

I just hope that as the Opposition has now gained a stronger voice in the government, we would see some change for the better instead. Pray they won't let us down! For our future, for Malaysia!

Mosquitoes are so ANNOYING!

It's the rainy season, and they're here to stay.

It's not fair. No matter what you try to do to prevent them from breeding, living or sucking off on your blood, you'll never succeed. Heck, even the chemical spraying van thingy that comes by monthly (or is it bi-monthly?) spraying that killer white gas (whatever it's called) that's supposed to be killing the mosquitoes doesn't work 100%. In fact I think it's the humans they're scaring away instead.

Yes, I'm really annoyed. As I sit here typing this short post about how mosquitoes are annoying, there's one constantly irritating me on my legs below the computer table. And it seems no amount of burning incense, spraying of Sheltox (TM), repetitive swatting or light shining has been able to kill it. Oh, I forgot leg stomping too.

GAH! Die you stupid thing, DIE!!! *Swats* *Burns* *Sprays*
Just hope it isn't an Aedes mosquito though... O_O
